IM Harry Grieve
The organising committee for the 47th BWCI Guernsey International Chess Festival is pleased to announce that English IM Harry Grieve will be participating in this year’s event.
IM Harry Grieve
Harry became an IM In 2022 and has 2 GM norms (in British Championship 2022 and 4NCL 2022-23).
He was UK Chess Challenge Champion 2017, British Online Rapid Champion 2020 & British Champion 2022 with unbeaten 7.5/9.
Harry says that, “one of my best junior memories was scoring 4.5/7 in Guernsey 2014 as the bottom seed in the event! I then made 4.5/7 again at my other appearance in 2018, but hoping to improve on that this year”
This will be his third appearance in the Guernsey International Chess Festival with his last appearance being in 2018 and we look forward to welcoming him in October.
